Windsor Komatsu & Access, a major materials handling business in its 30th Year of trading has chosen St. Helens for its latest site.
Hull based Windsor Komatsu & Access, which specialises in forklift and access equipment hire, sales and servicing, has expanded its business into the region with the lease of a 4,500 sq ft unit at Sherdley Park Industrial Estate in St. Helens.
The expansion to the new premises has already created three jobs and Andy Evans, manager for the North West area is confident that a number of further employees will be recruited within the next few months.
He said, “The North West area was identified as a key area for further growth of the business. With two strong products, Komatsu forklifts and JLG access equipment a strategic location was required to deliver local service to our customers and potential customers, a base in St. Helens allows for this.”
“We took occupancy of the unit this month and already trading has exceeded our expectations. Providing this continues, we will soon be able to expand yet further, taking on new members of staff, developing a wider customer base and building a reputation for ourselves in this area.”
